How to Talk to Kids about Sexuality - PART II

Wednesday, January 24, 8:30 - 9:30 am
Sweet Building A-Z Room

It is never too early to start talking to kids about their bodies! In Part II of this sexuality workshop, we will continue to explore our own discomfort about this charged topic, learn to talk openly about body parts, and how to teach children to pay attention to cues from people around them, and more. We'll take a closer look at teachable moments, as opposed to preparing to have "the talk."

Perfect for parents of children of all ages. Those who didn't attend the first session are welcome.

Conversation led by Roadrunners teacher Isy Abraham-Raveson. Isy has a degree in Women’s, Gender, and Sexuality Studies from Williams College and is pursuing a Master's in Sexuality Education at Widener University. She has taught sex ed to middle and high school students in Newark, NJ and Montclair, NJ.
