PIC's Family Book Fest Filled with Fun!

We had over 80 parents and children stop by the Rotunda on Saturday, November 12 to celebrate the joy of reading with PIC. There were read-aloud stories, book making, a book swap table, great music and more. We are grateful to our good friend WXPN's Kathy O'Connell, host of Kids' Corner, who shared her time and talents reading aloud and engaging our crowd. Thank you also to The Cat's Pajamas, for rocking the house, author/illustrator Brian Biggs for sharing his work, our friends and neighbors Bindlestiff Books for joining the fun, and Carla Wiley from the Free Library's Books Aloud program who shared a mighty, mighty good story. We look forward to doing it again next year!

ArtStart 2011 was Magical!

On Thursday, October 20, over 200 PIC families, alumni and friends celebrated creativity and community at PIC's 15th annual ArtStart. This magical evening raised over $30,000 to benefit PIC's Scholarship Fund and help the Center remain a leading provider of high quality child care in Philadelphia. Read more...
