Celebrating 35 years at ArtStart 2013
Join us this year on October 17 from 5:30 - 8:00 pm for a very special event! This year, in addition to celebrating creativity and community will also celebrate 35 years of providing high quality child care to the families that live and work in West Philadelphia.
Spend a Thursday night out admiring the works of PIC’s talented young artists when St. Andrews Chapel (next door to PIC) is transformed into a children’s art gallery showing finger painting, mixed-media collage, sculpture and much more. Enjoy cocktails and a dinner buffet generously donated by PIC friend and owner of Beijing, Alex Yuen, along with other culinary delights from West Philadelphia’s favorite restaurants and volunteer chefs. Guests will bid on a host of unique items from original art, to great getaways, to tickets to the best shows in town. Watch for the very popular themed baskets organized by parents in each classroom.
