Storytime Volunteers Needed

Preparations have begun for Storytime in Clark Park, PIC's summer outreach program promoting literacy and pre-literacy as a family activity.

We are looking for readers and hosts — choose one night or volunteer for several. It's a great way to earn PPP on a summer night!

Mark your calendar! Beginning May 29, families will gather on Thursday evenings at 7:00 pm by the turtle sculpture in Clark Park (between 43rd and 45th Streets) for read-aloud stories for children ages 7 and under. Many folks bring blankets and picnics. Sharing cookies is always the happy ending!

Storytime in Clark Park is a volunteer effort led by PIC's Diversity Committee
